The application will get a new feature allowing employees to schedule immediate company meetings with no prior notice. All employees will instantly be alerted with a flashing message and sound. Obviously, the client will have to be connected to the Internet to receive meeting alerts, meaning the company website needs an API for retrieving/updating the meeting status. That's probably the easy part, anyway.

Live video chat won't be included in this feature due to its complexity. In the meantime, just pretend it refers to an in-person meeting or something.
